Several Formula 1 teams, namely, Mercedes, McLaren, Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin have suffered delays in their equipment freight ahead of this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix.

In the buildup to the Chinese Grand Prix, reports revealed that two flights from Melbourne have been delayed by eighth hours meaning the aforementioned teams only received their crates on Wednesday.
The FIA also revealed that Pirelli also suffered from delays in their freight whilst receiving some of their equipment on Wednesday.
The Chinese Grand Prix runs back to back with the F1 season opener, the 2025 Australian Grand Prix which was won by McLaren's Lando Norris.
However Formula 1 teams and the governing FIA have confirmed that their preparations will not be affected by the delays as their car builds will be concluded ahead of the first practice session on Friday.
The FIA has also given permission for the teams to break curfew should they need to.
The Chinese Grand Prix will run under the Sprint format with only one practice session followed by qualifying for the Sprint Race.
The Sprint Race will be the first session on Saturday followed by the qualifying for Sunday's Grand Prix.
