The revolving door of staff at the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) continues with new reports emerging that two senior figures have departed the organisation.
Autosport reported: "The FIA has lost two of its senior figures, as its director of communications Luke Skipper and secretary general of mobility Jacob Bangsgaard have resigned."
The resignations in the third year of Mohammed Ben Sulayem's reign as FIA President. His tenure marked by a constant changing of the guard at the organisation that governs Formula 1.
Bangsgaard and Skipper are among the
high-level departures including the resignation of sporting director Steve Nielsen and single-seater technical director Tim Goss.
Before them, Deborah Mayer quit as FIA Women in Motorsport Commission as did governance and regulatory director Pierre Ketterer, head of commercial legal affairs Edward Floydd, the organisation's first CEO Natalie Robyn departed to pursue opportunities elsewhere.

The official website says of Bangsgaard (pictured above right): "Jacob has 30 years of experience working on transport and mobility issues. Former CEO of ERTICO, Director General of FIA Region I, and Director of International Relations at the FIA Foundation, he joined the organisation on 1 May 2023 and will report to the CEO."
Skipper (pictured above left) is described: "Canadian-born Luke is a senior communications and public affairs practitioner who brings 17 years of experience to the FIA’s growing international team. Tasked with delivering a new, proactive communications and public affairs strategy, Luke will work closely with the Federation’s leadership to ensure the FIA is the global voice of mobility and motorsport"
At the time Ben Sulayem said of Skipper's appointment: “This is a pivotal moment for the FIA as we bring our public affairs and communications functions together. Luke will be joining our team in this newly created role where he will help deliver our ambitious manifesto of growth and reform."
The news of Bangsgaard and Skipper departing the organisation has not been confirmed by the FIA, thus the reasons for the departures/resignations are not known.
