Ferrari have confirmed that the car Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc will use in the 2019 Formula 1 World Championship will be unveiled on February 15, three days ahead of pre-season testing in Barcelona.
Team principal Maurizio Arrivabene revealed the date at the Caschi d’Oro awards ceremony and also mentioned, “The group led by [technical director] Mattia Binotto has been working on next year's single-seater for months now."
“The engines are already running on the test benches and there are parts of the car that are already in production," added the Ferrari team chief who was accompanied by Leclerc to the function in Milan.
The first pre-season F1 test takes place at Circuit de Catalunya from February 18 to February 21.
