Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing will field a car for Formula 2 driver Christian Lundgaard at next Saturday’s IndyCar road course race in Indianapolis.

The Danish driver recently tested an IndyCar for the first time with the team at Barber Motorsports Park and will drive the No. 45 Honda for RLL.
Lundgaard has two F2 podiums so far this season and sits 12th in the drivers' standings, four weekends into the season.
The 20-year-old finished seventh in the F2 standings last season and has tested an Alpine F1 car in the past.
“There’s been a lot of work to make this happen and prepare as best as possible, and I’m feeling ready for the challenge,” Lundgaard said.
“I’ve actually watched all IndyCar races this year, so to be given the chance to line up on the grid is amazing.”
