Lando Norris has stated that 'he knows what to do' to give himself the best shot of winning the 2025 Formula One Drivers' crown.

The British driver currently leads the Drivers' Standings with just one more race remaining this season, but the Title is far from guaranteed for him at the moment.
He leads Red Bull's Max Verstappen by 12 points, and is 16 points ahead of his teammate Oscar Piastri in the Championship. There's many ways that the McLaren driver can claim his maiden F1 Title, but as long as he finishes on the podium there will be no mathematical way in which his two closest rivals can close the gap.
While Norris couldn't claim pole position during Saturday's Qualifying session, he will start alongside polesitter Verstappen on the front row of the grid. Piastri was just a few hundredths of a second down in P3.
The 26-year-old is undoubtedly feeling the pressure, but he told media that as long as he keeps a cool head, he can win that all-important Drivers' crown.

No need to take risks

Norris: I know what I have to do
Speaking immediately after Qualifying, Norris stated that he will put any thoughts regarding the Championship to the back of his mind both before and during the Grand Prix on Sunday.
He said: "There's no point thinking about it too much. I will sit with my guys and girls and see how we can best prepare for tomorrow and prepare for every eventuality.
"Our goal is to try and win the race. That's our mindset. It won't be a simple one, probably the most complicated race I might have!
"I don't need to take any risks and hopefully I can use that to my advantage. I'm hoping we can be a bit quicker tomorrow, otherwise, Red Bull were too quick," claimed the Briton.
Norris continued by saying that he will control the controllables come race day; anything else that happens is not for him to dwell on too long.
"I know what I have to do. It's never as simple as 'stay there' or 'do this'. Everyone has their own agenda.
"The only thing I can do is focus on my own stuff, prepare the best I can and wait to see what happens," concluded Norris.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix commences Sunday 7 December at 13:00 GMT (17:00 local time). Who will be crowned World Champion?
