Jenson Button blasted Lance Stroll after the driver's disgraceful antics, after another poor performance in the cockpit of his Aston Martin, aired live on TV, the 2009 World Champion sending a clear message that Formula 1 is a sport for grown-ups.

Stroll's first season as veteran Fernando Alonso's teammate has shown-up the 24-year-old Canadian in all aspects. He has been seriously lacking, with stats showing that the 42-year-old Spaniard has scored 183 of the team's 230 points after 17 Rounds. Stroll has 47 points.
Apologists for Stroll junior, his father Lawrence Stroll and Aston Martin F1 team boss Mike Krack blame it on luck or rather lack thereof for Lance this season.
Granted he did have a serious fall which had him broken up just ahead of the opening round. And indeed he has had some odd failures along the way, but it is his tantrum in Qatar that has not won Stroll any respect.
Including Button who told Sky F1: "Some of it is definitely being unlucky and this is another unlucky situation he finds himself in. There are three things: One, maybe the performance isn’t quite there. Two, unlucky. But for me, the big one [Three] is the off-track antics, which I have a bit of an issue with."

Button: I know it’s tough, there’s so much pressure on you

“As a racing driver, you get stressed in certain situations," insisted Button. "But you need to control that, you need to have more respect within a team, the people you work with. I think he lost that a little bit in the last race. Hopefully, he realises that and he’s put it right," ventured Button.
Stroll has been a victim of the usual social media abuse that prevails when keyboard warriors start trolling, which prompted Krack to call out [to a deaf audience?] for more respect as the incident was mch like a footballer tossing a drinks bottle in anger.
Not so said Button: “Mike Krack also said that drivers need more respect. I understand in one way, the stress that they’re under and the cameras are always on a racing driver, but I think respect is more needed for the other people you’re working with in the team. Hopefully, he’s realised that.
“I know it’s tough, there’s so much pressure on you. Sometimes you can be forgiven for the way you act, but other times it’s not right. This is a grown-up sport and we can’t be acting in that manner. But I’m sure he understands that and he sees it now and we can move on," declared Button.

Big Question: Is Lance Stroll passed it in F1?
