Audi has officially unveiled the Audi Revolut F1 Team name and logo, confirming that the project’s global launch will take place in Berlin on January 20, 2026, as the marque prepares for its entry into the Formula 1 World Championship later that year.
The announcement marks a key milestone in Audi’s long-term commitment to the sport and formally integrates global fintech Revolut as title partner, following confirmation of the partnership in July 2025.
The Audi Revolut F1 Team identity brings together Audi’s Formula 1 programme and Revolut’s global brand under a single banner, establishing the foundation for the manufacturer’s debut season in 2026. The team will present its full visual and brand identity for the first time at the Berlin event, positioning the launch as a central moment in the final phase of preparation ahead of the new regulatory era.
Revolut partnership defines team identity and operations
The title partnership with Revolut has been positioned as a strategic pillar of the Audi Revolut F1 Team rather than a conventional sponsorship arrangement. The collaboration is intended to align both brands around shared priorities of innovation, performance and global reach, while also shaping new approaches to fan engagement.
According to the team, the partnership will deliver race access, exclusive activations and app-based benefits for Revolut users, alongside deeper operational integration. Revolut Business will be embedded within the team’s financial operations, while Revolut Pay will be introduced into the team’s online store to provide a streamlined checkout experience for fans and customers.
The alliance is designed to connect the Formula 1 project with a younger and more digitally engaged audience, extending the team’s presence beyond the paddock and into Revolut’s global user base.
Berlin launch to showcase full team identity and 2026 livery
The January 20 launch in Berlin will serve as the first full presentation of the Audi Revolut F1 Team brand. Audi has described the event as an immersive experience built around three core brand pillars: clarity, technical intelligence and emotion.
Following the exclusive launch event, the team will open the experience to the public on January 21, allowing fans to engage directly with the project and its visual identity ahead of the debut season. Audi has positioned this public element as a deliberate step to ensure the team’s arrival resonates beyond the Formula 1 paddock.
A central feature of the Berlin launch will be the unveiling of the team’s full 2026 race livery. This follows the presentation of the Audi R26 Concept in November and will provide the first look at how Audi’s design philosophy translates onto the Formula 1 grid. With less than 50 days remaining before the opening race of the 2026 season, the livery reveal will mark one of the final visible milestones before competitive running begins.
Sauber rebrand formalised under Audi Motorsport structure
As part of the transformation into the Audi Revolut F1 Team, significant corporate rebranding has also been confirmed.
Sauber Motorsport AG will be renamed Audi Motorsport AG, reflecting Audi’s full integration of the operation ahead of 2026.
The team’s UK facility in Bicester will be renamed the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK, aligning the site with the broader Audi Motorsport structure.
At the same time, the company will retain the names Sauber Holding AG and Sauber Technologies AG, preserving the legacy and corporate continuity of the Swiss organisation that underpins the project.
Leadership reactions underline milestone moment
Audi leadership described the announcement as a defining step in the brand’s Formula 1 journey. Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sauber Motorsport AG, said: “Unveiling the Audi Revolut F1 Team name and logo marks another major milestone on our journey into the pinnacle of motorsport. Both give our ambition a clear identity, reflecting a strong vision and innovative spirit. We now look ahead to Berlin in January, where we will officially present this exciting new chapter for the Audi brand to the world.”
Mattia Binotto, Head of the Audi F1 Project, emphasised the importance of the announcement for the team’s internal momentum, stating: “This announcement gives a name and a face to the incredible work being done by the team. The team is taking shape, driven by a culture of precision and relentless ambition. The Berlin launch will be the first moment we stand together as a collective and invite our global fan base to join us ahead of our debut in 2026.”
Team Principal Jonathan Wheatley highlighted the unifying role of the new identity across Audi’s international operations, saying: “Today, our project takes on its official identity. The Audi Revolut F1 Team name is a symbol of the combined strength of our teams in Germany, UK and Switzerland, together with our partners. It provides a banner under which we all unite as we build towards 2026. This is a crucial milestone that energizes the entire project and makes our long-term ambition tangible for everyone involved.”
Revolut CEO and Co-Founder Nikolay Storonsky framed the partnership as a platform for global growth, adding: “Revolut and Audi are uniting in Formula 1 with a global ambition to challenge the status quo and a shared obsession with engineering excellence. The Audi Revolut F1 Team name and logo are the first symbols of this powerful alliance that will accelerate Revolut’s global growth.”
With the team identity now formally revealed and the Berlin launch confirmed, Audi’s focus shifts to the final months of preparation as it counts down to its first Formula 1 season in 2026.
