Formula 1 made history on Tuesday night with its first-ever season launch event, unveiling the 2025 car liveries of all ten teams at London’s O2 Arena to mark the sport’s 75th anniversary.

Dubbed F1 75 Live, the spectacle fused motorsport with live entertainment, drawing thousands to witness a theatrical production designed by Stufish Entertainment Architects and production partner 1826 whose show wowed a massive global audience.
The event featured a central runway stage stretching into the crowd, a towering LED screen—the largest ever used at the venue—and a mechanical lift raising cars eight meters high. A flying LED screen with dynamic lighting moved above, revealing each team’s drivers and cars in a choreographed sequence, blending custom music, video, and live performances.
Ray Winkler, CEO and design director at Stufish, said the production aimed to merge motorsport’s energy with theatrical flair.
“We wanted to bring the thrill of the racetrack into the heart of The O2, immersing audiences from the instant the lights dim,” he said.
Joe Sanchez, CEO of 1826, called it a boundary-pushing collaboration. “We’re lucky enough to have great creative partners like Stufish, Brian Burke Creative, and DX7,” he said, adding that the event could become “the talked-about event of 2025.”
Stufish, known for designing stages for Beyoncé and The Rolling Stones, partnered with 1826, a firm with credits including Tyler The Creator and the LA Dodgers, to orchestrate the multi-sensory experience. Creative visionary Brian Burke and DX7 Design also contributed to the staging, which featured garage-style doors introducing drivers and cinematic visuals building anticipation.
The launch reflects a growing trend of blending sports with music, seen in events like the Super Bowl, to engage younger, diverse audiences. Each team’s reveal was crafted as a narrative, celebrating their stories and fans, with the 15,000-capacity venue hosting a concert-like atmosphere.
This marks the second major Formula 1 project for Stufish and 1826, following their 2023 collaboration on the Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix, which similarly combined racing with entertainment. The O2 event signals Formula 1’s push to expand its global appeal beyond the racetrack as the 24-race season nears.
