Following the title unveil of the F1 movie last week, the first trailer/teaser starring Brad Pitt aired shortly ahead of the British Grand Prix.

The Apple Original Films’ produced movie will see Brad Pitt star as a former driver, Sonny Hayes, who returns to Formula 1 alongside rookie team-mate Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid, battling against the sport’s drivers and teams. F1 is directed by Joseph Kosinski, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer,

2023 F1 filming locations included Silverstone, Hungaroring, Spa Francorchamps, Circuit Zandvoort, Las Vegas Strip Circuit, Yas Marina Circuit Abu Dhabi. In 2024 filming happened at Suzuka Circuit and most recently at Silverstone.


Next on the schedule are Hungaroring, Spa Francorchamps, Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez Mexico City, Las Vegas Strip Circuit, Yas Marina Circuit Abu Dhabi.

F1 will be distributed in cinemas around the world and in IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, opening only in cinemas in North America on 27 June 2025 and internationally beginning 25 June 2025.

Made in collaboration with Formula 1, the new movie is immersed in the exhilarating and cinematic world of F1, filmed at various Grands Prix across the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
