Alpine announced the date on which they will launch their 2024 Formula 1 car as well as their World Endurance Championship challenger.

The event with which Alpine will kick off their 2024 racing season will take place on February 7, 2024 as they plan to unveil both their F1 car, presumably the A524 and the WEC car, the A424.
The F1 team will retain Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly within its lineup, while Mick Schumacher will make his debut in the team's WEC project.
Schumacher will be one of six drivers driving for Alpine them in two A424 Hypercars. Those drivers will be French drivers Nicolas Lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere, Charles Milesi and Paul-Loup Chatin as well as Austrian Ferdinand Habsburg.
Williams and Stake will kick off the launch season on February five, with Alpine following them ahead of Aston Martin, Ferrari and Mercedes who will launch their new F1 cars in February 12, 13 and 15 respectively.
Alpine finished the 2023 F1 season sixth in the Constructors' Championship 160 points behind Aston Martin in fifth and 92 points ahead of Williams who were seventh.
The team has gone through a turbulent season with Otmar Szafnauer ousted and Team Principal followed by long serving Sporting Director Alan Permane, while CEO Laurent Rossi was shown the door days earlier.
While Rossi was relegated to a role focusing on special projects related to the transformation of the Alpine group, he was succeeded as CEO by Phillipe Krief.
Bruno Famin took over Szafnauer's role as interim Team Principal, until a full time replacement is found.
