Mike Krack, Aston Martin's Team Principal revealed that, despite being happy with the team's strong start of the 2023 Formula 1 season, Lawrence Stroll is demanding a win.

Aston Martin have had s flying start to their third F1 campaign under their current moniker, with Fernando Alonso delivering three podiums (third places) in the first three races this year in what must be a far cry from the 2022 when the team struggled towards an eventual seventh in the Constructors' Standings.
For now, Aston Martin are second behind Red Bull, with 65 points, which could have been more had the team not been hampered by Lance Stroll's pre-season injury from a cycling accident, meaning he missed pre-season testing, and raced in Bahrain's season opener not fully recovered but scoring a strong sixth place. He retired in Saudi Arabia from a power unit problem, but bounced back in Melbourne with a fourth.
However, Mike Krack revealed that Aston Martin Chairman Lawrence Stroll is not resting until his team achieved their first win in top flight.
"The [team’s] mission is very clear," Krack told F1's official website in the aftermath of the 2023 Australian Grand Prix.
"[Stroll] has not been having any delay in telling us ‘When are we going to win the next one?’ Obviously, he is happy we have made a step, but this is not enough for his ambitions.

The big boss wants more, and Aston Martin have to deliver

"The good thing is with Laurence [Stroll] is you know where you stand – he wants more, and we will have to deliver more," Krack explained.
While Fernando Alonso urged for caution about the team's chances despite their encouraging early form, it now seems after three rounds on three different tracks that the AMR23 is a handy piece of kit that works on all sorts of circuit layouts.
"[We’ve had] three circuits with three characteristics," Krack pointed out. "To be competitive on all three, we are confident we can be on other circuits as well.
"But you know the range of circuits is now very different: you have Baku with huge straight and then you Monaco with no straights. These kinds of things will always shift the field a little bit," he warned.
"And this can happen when you have such small margins, it can happen. It’s the situation we are in and I’ve said it before, we have to be at maximum at all times, at 100% to get [the most] out of it," Krack insisted.
The Aston Martin boss was full of praise for Alonso who is still driving at a remarkable level at the age of 41; he said: "It’s fantastic, if someone had said you would have three podiums after the first three races, I would not have believed it either.
"He shows what a champion we have, he’s incredible," Krack concluded.
