Kyle from Kyle.Engineers was finally able to have a crack at analyzing Red Bull's 2023 Formula 1 car, the RB19, after the real one was revealed in Bahrain for pre-season testing.
Red Bull just showed the world a launch version of their 2023 RB19, revealing their new livery at the event the held in New York where they also announced a power-unit partnership with Ford for 2026.
However, as the team arrived
in Bahrain for the only pre-season test ahead of the 2023 F1 season, a three-day session, Red Bull finally showed us what they have been up to all winter at Milton Keynes, the real RB19.
The Red Bull RB19 still seems to be a decent piece of kit this year, and while Kyle didn't detect a major change in the car's design philosophy, he gives us some interesting information about the energy drinks outfit's new F1 machine.
Kyle said: "After being shrouded in secrecy, the Red Bull RB19 has finally broken cover at testing. So the question is, what's changed?
"In general the philosophies around the car are pretty much the same as last year, there are some small interesting details that we can dive into though, as well as some flow vis shots," he added.
The RB19 will be the weapon Max Verstappen will have at his disposal as he looks to secure a third consecutive F1 Drivers' Title after winning his first two in 2021 and 2022 in a row.
The 2023 Red Bull machine will also give us a clear idea of how the team dealt with the reduction in their aero-development time - 10% cut as a penalty for breaching the 2021 F1 cost cap in addition to a $7-Million fine.
