Vettel, Schumacher & Bottas ready for Race of Champions

Following the success of last year, Race of Champions Snow & Ice is back in Piteå, Sweden, and will be driven on ice and snow outside the coast of the city Piteå.

It will be the second time that the Race of Champions will be held in the northern parts of Sweden.

The Race will be held over two days where nations compete against each other the first day and there will be individual races the second day where the “Champion of Champions” is crowned.

This year, Germany is considered favorites since the country will be represented by Mick Shumacher and Sebastian Vettel in the national race. However, if you are betting and looking for value, remember that Finland is represented by Valtteri Bottas who was expected to compete also in 2022 but had to cancel just days before the event due to personal reasons.

According to experts in betting, they often highlight that Bottas, being born and raised in Finland, has way more experience in ice racing than his German colleagues. Also worth noticing is that Bottas will race together with “the flying finn” Mika Häkkinen.

The Race of Champions is expected to attract thousands of visitors to the shore of Piteå where some of them might be interested in betting on the event. Being physically located in Sweden, notice that your regular sportsbooks and casinos online won’t work as when you are home.

For the North American visitors, we hence recommend finding a betting or casino site via Casivo USA or Casivo Canada and place the bets on the event in advance, while being located in North America.

Traveling to Piteå can at first glance appear a bit difficult depending on from where you go. For the majority of international guests, we recommend flying to Luleå Airport, located around 60 km from Piteå Havsbad where the race will be held.

Once there, tickets to the event are from 1,195 SEK (Around $120). If you feel like spending, there is an offer called “Premium VIP hospitality in the fully glassed Strand Bistrot of Pite Havsbad overlooking the track.” for the weekend (28-29 Jan) that costs 14,995 (around $1,500).

Regardless of what package you choose, we are convinced that it will be a really cool (pun intended) event.
