Daniel Ricciardo looks like he won’t have a drive in Formula 1 next year, with a Mercedes reserve role a possibility but his stated intention is to return to the Grand Prix grid by 2024
He is hardly gone, and already there is talk of the possibility that he may be making a comeback in the near future, many F1 fans are wondering exactly when this will be. One of the most popular theories to be speculated upon is that the earliest we will see him back is 2024 – this is also backed up by some evidence too.
However, there are a few key points that we have to take into consideration when speculating on when Ricciardo is going to make his return.
Ricciardo Has Publicly Announced He Aims To Return To F1 in 2024
To cut right to the chase; Ricciardo aims to race in F1 again in 2024 but has made numerous statements pointing to when we may see him take to the track again. But it might be a case of wishful thinking.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that this is when we are going to see his return for sure. There are a myriad of variables at play, and it is not uncommon for famous stars to have things come up that stop them from going through with their plans.
