Le Mans 2022: Totyota’s Conway fastest in warm-up for 24-Hours

The final track running before the 90th running of the Le Mans 24 Hours, a 15-minute warm-up, was topped by the No.7 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010 Hybrid Hypercar with a best lap of 3:32.369s by Mike Conway ahead of the sister No.8 Toyota GR0101 Hybrid Hypercar driven by Sebastien Buemi.

No.708 Glickenhaus 007LMH car was third on a 3:36.098s best. But there were issues for the sister No.709 machine with Franck Mailleux aboard as the Frenchman stopped on his out lap

In LMGTE Pro the No.63 Corvette Racing car of Antonio Garcia set the pace with a 3m54.788s lap. Second in class was the No.91 Porsche GT Team 911 RSR-19 with Frederic Makowiecki at the wheel.

Third fastest was the No.92 Porsche GT Team car as Kevin Estre completes laps in preparation for their battle against Corvette and Ferrari this weekend.

In the LMP2 class, the pole clinching N.31 WRT car head the times as Rene Rast set the best time 3:33.177s to place second overall.

Nyck de Vries got his first laps of the weekend so far after being drafted in late and set second-best time of 3:33.759s in TDS x Vaillante car, in which he was drafted into on Friday morning.

Third position went to Realteam by WRT car driven by Ferdinand Habsburg. Both the DKS and Vector Sport entries suffered spins into the gravel during the session but did not suffer serious damage.

In LMGTE Am Toni Vilander was tops with his 3:56.532s effort in the No.21 AF Corse Ferrari, ahead of pole sitting No.61 Ferrari driven by qualifying hero Vincent Abril.
