Formula 1’s seven-time World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton celebrates his 36th birthday today, and apart from our own good wishes we can report that social media was buzzing with well-wishes for the occasion.
Born on 7 January 1985 in Stevenage, Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton has become the sport’s biggest superstar and most successful driver, matching the incredible record of seven titles held by F1 legend Michael Schumacher.
With 95 Grand Prix victories and 98 pole positions starts in his peerless CV in Formula 1, and the end does not appear to be in sight for a driver who gets better and better with age.
A deal for another year or two in the top flight with Mercedes are a mere formality for the recently knighted, serial winner and we wish him a great day and many happy returns.
We are not alone!
