Hamilton: #Fakenews of me leaving with a car full of girls

Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton grabbed tabloid headlines this weekend as he was pictured out on the town in Paris with a bevvy of models which triggered keyboard warriors into overdrive this weekend.

The Sun reports that: “Hamilton partied until 3am and left a plush Paris restaurant with a cab full of women just two weeks before the start of the Formula One season. The five-time world champion appears to be living life in the fast lane after attending Fashion Week in the French capital.

“Joining him on the VIP list was NFL superstar Odell Beckham Jr – and the duo weren’t short of female attention as they left Cesar restaurant. Hamilton, 34, didn’t appear too keen to be photographed and did his best to cover his face.”

The Sun were not alone in reporting the Mercedes F1 driver’s night on the town as the yellow media latched on to it for their Sunday offerings.

So much so that Hamilton, clearly miffed by the intrusion into his private life, rose to the bait and went on the offensive on his Instagram account, writing:

In two weeks time, Hamilton will line up on the grid for the start of the 2019 Formula 1 World Championship season in Melbourne on 17 March, where the Briton will begin the defence of his title and begin his quest for a sixth title.
