Two McLaren workers have been killed after they were involved in an accident near the Formula 1 team’s Woking headquarters.
The Staff members, who have yet to be named, were driving a Subaru Impreza when they collided with a Ford Transit. The pair worked at the McLaren Production Centre, Sports Car Division, close to where the McLaren F1 cars are built.
Mike Flewitt, chief executive officer of McLaren Automotive, said: “We have been informed that we have sadly lost two hard working and extremely well-liked employees. They will be sorely missed by their friends and colleagues and our heartfelt condolences go out to their families.” (GP247)
