Jarno Trulli Formula 1 career in photos

Feb.19 (Grand Prix 247) With a career spanning a decade and a half, it is very difficult to quickly put together a photographic overview of Jarno’s time in Formula 1. However with access to the outstanding Sutton Images archives we were able to dig out some fine pictures that will no doubt conjure up memories of his time in F1.

Trulli lost his drive with Caterham last week and it would appear that Yas Marina 2011 was his final GP. He was at Jerez for the first test of the season, and did duty in the team’s new CT01. We present pictures from his F1 debut at the 1997 Australian GP, his first and only F1 victory in the 2004 Monaco GP, his last race in Abu Dhabi last year and quite a bit in between.

For the record: the 37 year old Italian contested 256 grands prix, scoring a single win, starting from pole four times, and finishing on the podium 11 times. He drove for the Minardi, Prost, Jordan, Renault, Toyota and Lotus teams.
