Kamui and Sergio Perez ose with the new Sauber C31.

After Monday’s promotional day, it will also be Kamui who will start the test programme tomorrow before handing over to his team mate, Sergio Pérez. Sergio will be on duty on Wednesday and Thursday, on Friday the Japanese will be in the car again.

Kamui Kobayashi: “I obviously can’t make serious judgements on the car because we had just a promotional day and were running only demo tyres. But still it is always a good start to the season when everything goes smoothly and according to plan. Being that perfectly on time actually is very Japanese and Swiss as well. All systems worked fine. It is a very nice feeling to be back in the car and with the team and I’m very much looking forward to proper testing now.”
