Jan.27 (PVM) Toro Rosso’s new recruit Daniel Ricciardo had a seat fitting in the team’s STR7 at the Faenza factory earlier this week.
Toro Rosso reported on their website: “For a racing driver, the first time he gets to sit in his new car is a thrilling moment, a time to imagine what it will be like to drive through the coming season.”
“For Daniel Ricciardo, that moment came on 26 January, when he had a seat fitting in the cockpit of STR7 at our Faenza factory. In a few days time, it will be Jean-Eric Vergne’s turn to get the perfect seat moulded around his body.”
Red Bull junior drivers Ricciardo and Vergne were drafted in to replace Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari in the squad for 2012.
