Snow patrol as Vergne trains hard

Jan.23 (PVM) Toro Rosso’s newly appointed driver Jean-Eric Vergne is hard at work training ahead of his debut season in Formula 1.

The Toro Rosso website reports: “Jean-Eric Vergne is about to embark on his Formula 1 career, but he hasn’t forgotten the support he received from the French motorsport authority, the FFSA.”

Accompanying the short report is a photo of the 21 year old Frenchman hard at work on the slopes of Chamonix, in the Alps, training with some of the federation’s young drivers.

Meanwhile, last week, Toro Rosso confirmed that their new car – designated STR7 – has passed all the required FIA tests and will be in action on 7 February in Jerez.
