Rosberg worried about reliability 2 March, 2014 Nico Rosberg Mercedes have without doubt been the stars of pre-season testing, not only with their ‘plug and play’ V6 turbo power unit, but also the Silver Arrows team as a whole, yet Nico Rosberg remains concerned ahead of the season opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. Rosberg told members of the media at the end of his final day of testing at Sakhir, “We had some good tests but reliability is still a concern for us, as it is for everybody else. It’s tough to get the car 100 per cent ready.” “We might be in a better position than some other teams but we need to get to the end of the race so that’s a big challenge.” “Conditions were tough out there with a sandstorm and really strong winds, which made it difficult to learn a lot, but it was still a good day,” said Rosberg.
