Quadruple Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel has revealed that the real difference in this year’s Red Bull RB10 is under the skin and not immeduiately visible to the naked eye.
Speaking to media on the occasion of the launch of the launch of the Adrian Newey penned RB10 at Jerez on Tuesday, Vettel said, “The car looks very different – especially underneath. There is a lot going on. The technology behind it is really complex. For all the engineers it is very difficult to understand everything because everything is linked.”
“For the drivers, it is even harder because we haven’t been to [turbo] school for so long – but it’s fascinating,” explained Vettel who will be on duty during the first two days of preseason testing at Jerez. (GP247)
