Giedo van der Garde and Charles Pic

In a clear hint that Giedo van der Garde’s time at Caterham is up, the logos of the Dutchman’s main backer McGregor have been removed from the team’s official sponsor page.

It is believed that the Tony Fernandes-owned team, having fielded van der Garde alongside Charles Pic last year, is set to enter the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship season with Kamui Kobayashi along with rookie Marcus Ericsson. (GMM)

VDG was doing great, and had a considerable double-digit million sponsorship. Ericsson must be bringing in Maldonado-type amounts, because this results have been nothing to write home about.

F1, yachts, motorcycles, go karts, caterham cars – bloody FOCUS is what you need in F1. Utter shambles and such a shame.

VDG was second worst driver on the grid. Only Chilton was worse. VDGs father in law was the only reason for he was in F1

In F1 money talks, talent walks…

I can assure you that there are no Maldenado-type money in Ericssons case. By the simple reason that Sweden don´t have that kind of sponsors.
Some really good performance mixed with bad and sometimes bad luck and much technical problems but it´s a surprise for us all in Sweden. I would be even more surprised if he made in F1, but I wish him all success he can have.

The talent walks doesnt apply to him since his father in law bought a seat

Well, VDG can’t be cared….he got love going on with billionaire daughter so he can do what ever he wants…competing in F1 is out of question though. Unless you like Max Chilton and dont have any self respect.
