Toro Rosso will be the only team sending both their 2014 drivers to take part in the Pirelli tyre test in Bahrain from 17 to 19 December.

The Red Bull ‘junior’ team confirmed the driving schedule, with Jean Eric Vergne on duty during the first day and the morning of the second day, before handing over the cockpit to Russian teenager Daniil Kvyat on the afternoon of the second day and the whole of the final day.

Also in action during the test will be Ferrari, with Pedro de la Rosa and Jules Bianchi sharing the driving, Red Bull with their reserve Sebastien Buemi on duty.

Mercedes will attend the testing but as have not announced their driver line-up as yet, however it is unlikely they will summons Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg from their vacation to partake in the test. They do have Sam Bird and Brendon Hartley on their books who they can call on for the three days at Sakhir. (GP247)
