Red Bull announces convenience store partnership for Korean GP 2 October, 2013 Infiniti Red Bull Racing is pleased to announce that the convenience store company, CU, will be an official team partner for the Korean Grand Prix, for the third consecutive year since 2011. As an official race partner, CU will see its logos feature on the overalls of World Champion Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber throughout the race weekend, as well as on both RB9s. Since launching in Korea in August 2011, Red Bull’s growth in the country has been in line with that of the convenience store industry. Red Bull is now available in 8 000 CU stores across Korea. By supporting Infiniti Red Bull Racing during the Korean GP, CU hopes to generate brand exposure and enhance the status of its convenience chain stores. The Director of Merchandising Division, Ki Yong Lee, said “Red Bull has now solidified its position as the leading premium energy drink in Korea’s market. Forty-nine per cent of Red Bull consumers are men in their 20-30s and we believe that CU’s team partnership with Red Bull Racing offers us a big chance to offer brand exposure to this target group.” (Red Bull) Subbed by AJN.
