Triple world champion Sebastian Vettel has claimed that Red Bull is getting better as a team as it collects more experience and titles along the way, but at the same time the German is not getting carried away as his fourth title beckons.

Together with the German, the Milton-Keynes based outfit has collected every drivers’ and constructors’ title on offer since 2010.

“The team has got better and better over the years,” reigning triple world champion Vettel told the Austrian magazine Sportwoche. “There are [fewer] mistakes now, and more confidence.”

The 26-year-old appears to be cruising to yet another championship in 2013, but he is not counting his chickens just yet.

“The first half of the season was very good, and the start of the second half has been even better,” Vettel admitted.

“But we can see that the smallest things make a big difference – ten degrees up or down and everything looks different.”

“We need to stay focused, but it does seem that in any conditions we can always be in the top five,” said Vettel.

Some have begun to compare 2013 with Vettel’s dominance of 2011, when wins and the title seemed to come easy to the German.

“When people talk about 2011,” said Vettel, “they say it was so dominant and easy. But I don’t like the word dominant, and it is never easy.”

This season Vettel has already won six of the 12 races, and has taken his career garnd prix wins to 32, with 55 podium finishes in total. (GMM.)

Too bad the obnoxious F1 fans that boo can’t see this side of Vettel. It has been there all along. When he wins a race he praises his crew and his teams. He ALWAYS said, “We did it”.

I’ve notice that about the best sportsmen in every sport: they don’t merely win, they make the very difficult seem effortless.

True that. I’ve never heard from him a “mama mia you guys are stupid”.

You can see why RB guys are heading towards a 4th wdc and a 4th constructors’ while the stupid mama mia guys are far behind.

Too bad for Ferrari and his true workers, I dont blame the mechanics, I’m sure they have done a hard work.
