Having said that New Jersey is unlikely to make its scheduled 2014 debut, the sport’s chief executive has now revealed that a decision about Mexico is due “within a couple of weeks”. “I’m going to try to make it happen,” Ecclestone told F1 business journalist Christian Sylt, according to Autoweek.
