Kubica to test Mercedes DTM car 17 January, 2013 Ex Formula One driver Robert Kubica is set to test a Mercedes DTM car, Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport reports. It was believed that the Pole, who has been recovering from horrific injuries sustained in an early-2011 rallying crash, would contest only certain European rally events this year. But another option, the magazine said, could be Germany’s premier international touring car series. “However, first of all he will test,” wrote correspondent Tobias Gruner. He said Kubica’s test will take place next week at Valencia. Mercedes, however, would confirm neither Kubica’s candidature for a 2013 DTM race seat, or even the test. (GMM) Subbed by AJN.
