Marussia unveil logo with festive message 3 January, 2012 Jan.3 (PVM) During the festive season the Marussia F1 Team ‘unofficially’ unveiled their new logo when sending out New Year greetings to associates and media. The team sent out best wishes on a graphic featuring their new logo on a carbon fobre background. The FIA granted, last year, that Virgin Racing could change their name to Marussia F1 Team as the latter ramped up their investment in the team, while Richard Branson’s concern relinquished the naming rights but still maintain an involvement ith the squad. Marussia is one of three teams permitted to change names in between the 2011 and 2012 season. the others are the Lotus Renault GP team becomes Lotus, while Team Lotus becomes Caterham F1 Team. Marussia driver line-up is set to be Timo Glock and rookie Charles Pic.
