Hulkenberg eyes Force India 2012 race seat 13 August, 2011 Aug.13 (PVM) Force India reserve driver Nick Hulkenberg is confident he has a good chance of being back on the Formula 1 grid next season, perhaps even with the Force India team who have been impressed with his performance. “You can never know one hundred percent sure if you can race next year, but I can from the feedback from the team conclude that they are very satisfied with me,” Hulkenberg told F1Today. The German – who won just about every juinior title including 2005 Formula BMW, 2006/2007 A1 GP, 2008 Formula 3 Euro Series and the 2009 GP2 Series – had a strong rookie season with Williams in 2010 but was dropped from the squad when he was dropped for Pastor Maldonado who had substantial financial backing. Force India indicated earlier this week that all three of the team’s current drivers were candidates for the 2012 race seat.
