Rosberg denies destroying Schumi legacy 29 July, 2011 Nico Rosberg with team mate Michael Schumacher Jul.29 (GMM) On the occasion of his 100th grand prix weekend, Nico Rosberg dismissed the suggestion his best achievement was “destroying” the Michael Schumacher’s legacy by out racing the seven times world champion at Mercedes GP. “No, I definitely would not say that,” he is quoted by Turun Sanomat at the Hungaroring. “This year, generally, Michael has done a really good job. I’ve just managed to be in front more often. I would not say I have destroyed the guy. “Qualifying has gone very well, I’m satisfied, but that’s it,” the German added. He may be currently beating Formula 1′s most successful driver in history, but a glaring omission in Rosberg’s statistics is a single win. Asked which of his 99 races so far was the best, the 26-year-old admitted: “I don’t know … it’s yet to come.” Tweet Related NewsMercedes under fire for Three Stooges style managementRosberg: I apologise to Lewis and the teamHamilton: I feel it would be wrong to point fingersMercedes: Nico and Lewis free to race but no contactHave Mercedes bosses lost control of their drivers?Mercedes seek guidance from fans and big bossRicciardo could steal title from Mercedes duo warns HakkinenMercedes: Hot heads should be cooled this weekCivil war persists at Mercedes in aftermath of Spa clashCase closed on Rosberg and Hamilton incident say FIA http://yallaF1.com F1 fan How can he be destroying Schumacher’s legacy when Nico has not even won 1 race yet?
